On Oct 1, 2011 the Board of Trustees met with Bobbie Byrne family members and broke ground on the new addition to the library. This addition will provide ADA access compliance, new space for our children’s room and more room for programming and public meetings. Bobbie Byrne, Newfields resident and long time library volunteer, donated $25,ooo to help make this project a reality. Her book collection will be housed in the reading room.
