Summer Reading 2017 ver 2

Here are all the details:

Children can register and pick up reading logs after school lets out on June 20th. They can track their reading (includes being read to, reading to someone else, listening to an audiobook) by book title or time (increments of 15 minutes).

When they bring their logs back to the library, they earn raffle tickets for various prizes. Stop by to see what we have!

Drop In Programs (come when you can)

June 26-30: Children can come paint a milk carton and turn it into a birdhouse – it may need drying time

July 3, 5-7: Stop in to make some 4th of July crafts – star wreaths or banners. We will have lots of material on hand for kids to use their imaginations


Wednesday, July 12 from 10:30-12 pm: Building Day at the library – first, we will read some books on construction and bridges. Then the building will begin – we have lots of materials including boxes, cardboard, and LEGOs

Wednesday, July 19 at 10:30 am: Children’s author Julia Walsh will read her new book, Wings in the Wind  –
