Join the Garden Club at the library on Sunday, March 19 for a free educational session on adaptive gardening.
At any age, or physical condition, we CAN keep active in our gardens with a few
modifications to mindset, tools we use and plants we plant. With Adaptive Gardening, we
talk about such concepts as “lazy gardening is good gardening!” And, we consider what’s
good for our bodies is also good for the earth!
Our speaker, Cris Blackstone, will share what she’s learned as a collaborator with UNH’s
Occupational Therapy School program and her own experiences with gardening following
knee replacements and several other tendon or muscle issues.
Where: Paul Memorial Library
When: Sunday, March 19
Time: 1:30PM
Free and open to the public.
