The library offers a variety of free and discounted museum and cultural passes available at the circulation desk for our members, courtesy of the Friends of the Newfields Library.

American Independence Museum – Now Available

- Each pass admits a group of 4: 2 adults + children/grandchildren (FREE)

- No appointment necessary.

Boston Children’s Museum (Boston, MA)

- Pass admits up to 4 people at half price admission.
- Library pass is NOT the ticket.
- Patrons must make reservations on the Museum’s website (see instructions on pass)
- Select one time slot for your visit (morning 9am-noon OR afternoon 1:30-4:30p)
- Present both the library pass and museum tickets on day of visit.
Boston Children’s Museum is a private, non-profit, educational institution that emphasizes hands-on play and learning to spark the inherent creativity, curiosity, and imagination of children. Museum exhibits focus on science, music, art, performing arts, language, culture, and health and fitness.
*Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Children’s Museum of NH (Dover)-Now Available

- Pass admits up to 4 guests at 50% reduced admission.
- Library passes do not guarantee reservation. You must reserve your date/time online.
- Pass is only valid on the date listed on the letter.
- Only one pass per patron/group per day.
- Masks are optional.
Pick up passes at the library circulation desk. You’ll receive the pass and instructions on how to schedule your reservation.

Children’s Museum + Theater of Maine (Portland, ME)-Now Available

- Pass admits up to 4 guests at 50% reduced admission for one play session/day.
- All parties must include at least one adult and one child.
- Check availability at museum website then call the library to reserve a pass for your chosen date and time. Once your library pass is reserved, checkout your tickets at the museum website.
How to Reserve Your Tickets
- Go the Children’s Museum “Plan Your Visit” page to check availability through its reservation calendar.
- When you have a chosen a date and time that is free, call the library to confirm the availability of our pass for your desired date (603-778-8169). (Or you may use the computers at the library to check availability and then go to the circulation desk to reserve your date).
- After reserving the library pass, reserve the time and date you’ve chosen for your play session on the museum website.
- Choose the option Discount: Pay at the Door for your discounted tickets. (If there is no pay at the door option, or tickets are sold out, this pass cannot be used.)
- Fill in the appropriate number of adults and children that will be part of your group.
- Add them to the cart and proceed with checkout.
- Collect your library pass at the library desk and bring it with you on your visit.
*Pass must be signed and dated by authorized library staff to be valid. Present your library pass to the front desk museum staff upon arrival.
Coppal House Farm (Lee) – Now Available

- Pass admits up to 4 people to the Fall 2023 Corn Maze
- Tickets are limited. First come, first served.
- Limit one ticket per household. Must be a library member.
NH State Parks (NH)-Now Available
- One pass is available per day to our patrons (first come, first served)
- Pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children (FREE)
- Entrance ONLY valid for the date listed on the pass
- Advanced reservation required. Pass DOES NOT guarantee access without reservation.
- Pass is good for all day-use state parks (see restrictions below)
How to Reserve Your Tickets
- Call the library (or drop by the circulation desk) to request a pass for the date you plan to visit.
- If the date is available, the librarian will print off a pass (note: pass is only valid for the date listed).
- Patron will then make a reservation online at: https://www.nhstateparks.org/planning/day-use-reservations
- Note on the reservation form that you have a library pass (the system will remove admission fees).*
- Present your printed pass to the tollbooth agent for entrance into the park.
*There is a $1 non-refundable reservation fee charged by the software company.
Restrictions
- The pass is NOT valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the Flume Gorge, Hampton Beach State Park – South Beach or Wallis Sands State Park.
- The pass cannot be used for camping and is not valid at the metered parking
Seacoast Science Center (Rye)-Now Available

- Two passes available per day (once they are claimed, other patrons will have to wait until the next day)
- Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children at a 50% discount
- Pass holder receives a 10% discount in the Nature Store
- Please purchase tickets and reserve your visit in advance

How to Reserve Your Tickets
- Go to http://www.seacoastsciencecenter.org
- Select “Admissions Tickets”
- Choose the “Pass Holder Admission” option.
- Click on the date of desired visit on the booking calendar.
- Choose the desired entry time and number of tickets per age group.
- For each ticket, select:
-Member or Pass Holder: Pass Holder
-Type of Pass: Library
-Name of Library: Paul Memorial Library
*Note: If a time slot if full, please choose another time/date.
**All online ticketing transactions incur a small processing fee.
Patrons will receive an email confirmation that will serve as their ticket for entry. Library Pass Holders must show their pass when they check-in.
Seashore Trolley Museum (Kennebunkport, ME)-Available Now

Visit the first and largest museum of mass transit!
The library has 5 day passes (first come, first served, while supplies last) to the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine.
- Library Day Pass admits up to 2 adults and 3 children (FREE)
- Pass cannot be used for special events.
- Guests can ride the different trolleys throughout the day and as often as they’d like.
- Bring a picnic lunch or get snack food at the facility.
Take a ride on the heritage railroad in a vintage trolley from the early 1900s. Explore three car-houses filled with beautiful, restored trolleys and several other precious transit artifacts around our outdoor campus.
The world-renowned collection includes vehicles from almost every major city in the United States that had streetcar systems, as well as from across the world. From the omnibus, to electric streetcars, buses, light rail vehicles, and rapid transit cars, we’ve got them all. Visit the Restoration Shop where you can view many cars in the process of maintenance or comprehensive restoration.
Located on 195 Log Cabin Rd. Kennebunkport, ME.
Hours of Operation: 9:30am-4:30pm. Last trolley leaves at 3:45pm.

Strawbery Banke Museum (Portsmouth)– Now Available

- Free museum admission for up to 2 families per day from May 1 through October 31
- Free admission for up to 4 individuals to Baby Animals: Heritage Breeds at the Banke, Ghosts on the Banke, and Candlelight Stroll (excludes the Member Preview Night)
- 50% discount on admission to Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond
- 10% off purchases at Pickwick’s at the Banke (Museum gift shop) and merchandise in the Lawrence J. Yerdon Visitors Center.
