The library offers a variety of free and discounted museum passes available at the circulation desk for our patrons. Check out our current list of museum offerings below:

Bedrock Gardens (Lee)

  • Limit one pass per family, per day.
  • Each pass admits a group of 4 (FREE)
  • Children 12 and under are free*
  • ​No appointment necessary.

*Except for the October Fairy Hobbit House Festival Fundraiser: TBD.

2022 Schedule

Open Tuesday through Friday, and the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month, from May 11th through October 10, 2022.

Hours are from 10am to 4pm both weekdays and weekends.

Children’s Museum of NH (Dover)

  • Limit 4 passes per family.
  • Each pass admits 1 (FREE)
  • Schedule your appointment online ahead of your visit.
  • Visit https://childrens-museum.org/visit/info and click on “Tickets/Reservations” to reserve your time slot.

MUSEUM HOURS

Tuesdays – Saturdays, 9am-Noon or 1-4pm
Sundays, 9am-Noon

The Museum has both mask-required and mask-optional days to give all visitors a chance to experience the Museum in a manner that addresses individual comfort levels.

Masks Optional: Wednesdays through Saturdays – both morning (9am-noon) and afternoon (1-4pm) play sessions; Tuesdays 1-4pm; Sundays 9am-noon
Masks Required: Tuesday mornings, 9am-noon (for everyone over the age of 24 months)

McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center (Concord)

  • One pass is available per day (once a patron has claimed it, other patrons will have to choose a different day)
  • Pass admits 4 (FREE)
  • Planetarium shows not included on this pass
  • Reserve your time at http://www.starhop.com/tickets under the General Admission section (AM or PM arrival). Select “Library Pass or Reciprocal Membership.” Be sure to bring your pass with you to present at the front desk on the day of your visit.

Beginning July 1, Masks Are Required in The Discovery Center on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, And Recommended But Not Required on all other days.

NH State Parks (NH)

  • One pass is available per day to our patrons (first come, first served)
  • Pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children (FREE)
  • Entrance ONLY valid for the date listed on the pass
  • Advanced reservation required. Pass DOES NOT guarantee access without reservation.
  • Pass is good for all day-use state parks (see restrictions below)

How to Reserve Your Tickets

  1. Call the library (or drop by the circulation desk) to request a pass for the date you plan to visit.
  2. If the date is available, the librarian will print off a pass (note: pass is only valid for the date listed).
  3. Patron will then make a reservation online at: https://www.nhstateparks.org/planning/day-use-reservations
  4. Note on the reservation form that you have a library pass (the system will remove admission fees).*
  5. Present your printed pass to the tollbooth agent for entrance into the park.

*There is a $1 non-refundable reservation fee charged by the software company.

Restrictions

  • The pass is NOT valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, the Flume Gorge, Hampton Beach State Park – South Beach or Wallis Sands State Park.
  • The pass cannot be used for camping and is not valid at the metered parking

Seacoast Science Center (Rye)

  • Two passes available per day (once they are claimed, other patrons will have to wait until the next day)
  • Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children at a 50% discount
  • Pass holder receives a 10% discount in the Nature Store
  • Please purchase tickets and reserve your visit in advance

Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 10am-4pm

How to Reserve Your Tickets

  1. Go to http://www.seacoastsciencecenter.org
  2. Select “Admissions Tickets”
  3. Choose the “Pass Holder Admission” option.
  4. Click on the date of desired visit on the booking calendar.
  5. Choose the desired entry time and number of tickets per age group.
  6. For each ticket, select:
    -Member or Pass Holder: Pass Holder
    -Type of Pass: Library
    -Name of Library: Paul Memorial Library

*Note: If a time slot if full, please choose another time/date.
**All online ticketing transactions incur a small processing fee.

Patrons will receive an email confirmation that will serve as their ticket for entry. Library Pass Holders must show their pass when they check-in.

SEE Science Center (Manchester)

  • 1 pass available per day (first come, first served)
  • Each pass admits 2 (FREE)
  • Check out the pass at the circulation desk.
  • Return the pass to the library within 3 days.
  • Advanced reservation highly recommended.

How to Reserve Your Tickets

Reserve your visit in advance online at https://see-sciencecenter.org/plan-your-visit/ or by calling 603-669-0400

Visitors will choose an arrival window time when they make their reservation.  Visitors may arrive any time within their window and do not need to leave at the end of the session time.  Last admission is one hour before closing time at 3 pm weekdays, 4 pm weekends. 

Hours: Tuesdays – Fridays 10am-4pm and Saturdays/Sundays 10am-5pm
