This month we’re celebrating Newfields and everything there is to love about our tiny town with a photo challenge!
Get out and explore Newfields in July. Show us your favorite local places and what makes Newfields special using the hashtag #PMLLovesNewfields (share on Facebook or Instagram).
Pick and choose your favorite prompts from the list or try and get all 15!
We’ll repost some of our favorite submissions during the month. Every photo you share will count as a raffle ticket entry (so the more you share, the more chances to win).
Two lucky winners will be randomly selected for a gift card prize to the Country Store.

Take a photo of the following things and share with #PMLlovesNewfields:
- Your happy place.
- Favorite lunch spot.
- Your current view.
- Favorite building.
- Newfields hidden gem.
- Newfields library.
- Favorite reading spot.
- What I’m reading.
- Local history.
- Newfields trails.
- Local park.
- Your neighborhood.
- Sidewalk art.
- Downtown Newfields.
- Newfields nature.
How to Participate
- Take a photo from the list of prompts.
- Share your photo on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #PMLLovesNewfields and tag the library.
- For every photo you submit, you will get an entry into our raffle drawing for a Country Store Gift Card. (Share on both Facebook and Instagram for double the entries).
- For an additional raffle entry each, follow us on Instagram @newfieldslibrarynh and our Facebook page.
- Share this post with your Newfields friends and neighbors!
- Challenge runs from July 1 to July 31
**If you are signed up for summer reading, each photo submission will also count as 1 volunteer hour (10 points) towards your reading log. So the more photos you take, the more reading points you earn.**
Not on social media? No problem! Even if you are not on social media, you can participate by emailing the library your photo submissions (Note: The library will share submissions on our social pages or website unless you revoke permission).
